A one-year renewable contract for a Backend Engineer at a company whose business units need production applications. The role is onsite at BTS Chatuchak in Bangkok.
What you would do
- Turn business unit ideas into secure, scalable production applications
- Own problems end-to-end across code, infrastructure and business discussions
- Build secure APIs meeting security and regulatory standards
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Use Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Write tested and documented code
What they ask for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of backend development
- Strong Node.js and Python skills (FastAPI, Django, Flask)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Experience with secure APIs (OAuth2/JWT, OWASP Top 10)
- Hands-on SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, GitHub CI/CD, AI-assisted development
