A company is urgently hiring a senior Python developer to build and maintain backend services, working hybrid in BGC, Taguig on a morning shift.
What you would do
- Build and maintain backend services with Python, FastAPI and Pydantic
- Design and optimize REST APIs and PostgreSQL database interactions
- Integrate SQLAlchemy, Snowflake, Dremio and Arrow Flight
- Write automated tests with pytest and unittest.mock
- Support deployment with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Troubleshoot backend, database and integration issues
What they ask for
- 6–8 years of relevant software development experience
- Strong hands-on Python, FastAPI and asynchronous programming skills
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy 2.0
- Experience with REST APIs, automated testing and database migrations
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Exposure to Snowflake, Dremio and Arrow Flight is a plus
