A company is hiring an experienced SQL Server database administrator to manage enterprise databases, improve performance and support cloud migration work.
What you would do
- Administer and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Set up Always On, clustering, backup and disaster recovery
- Tune performance for databases larger than 1 TB
- Carry out cloud migrations to Azure SQL and Amazon RDS
What they ask for
- 6+ years of experience
- Strong T-SQL and PowerShell skills
- Experience with Always On, clustering, backup and disaster recovery
- Performance tuning on 1 TB+ databases
- Azure SQL, Amazon RDS and cloud migration experience
- DP-300 certification preferred; exposure to Oracle, MariaDB or PostgreSQL a plus
