A company is hiring a BI Developer to build and maintain reporting and analytics solutions. The role is based in New Cairo and allows hybrid work.
What you would do
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards with IBM Cognos and Tableau
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
- Design and support data models and data warehouse structures
- Collect and analyze reporting requirements with business users
- Ensure data accuracy, report performance, and system reliability
- Troubleshoot BI issues, support production deployments, and document solutions
What they ask for
- 2–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence or a related field
- Strong SQL skills including T-SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics, Cognos Framework Manager, and Tableau
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and IBM DB2
- Knowledge of ETL, dimensional modeling, and Star Schema
- Familiarity with Power BI, KPI reporting, data visualization, and Agile/Scrum
